Chile 2020
Chile – white water heaven on Earth
The Upper Rio Palguin – a section of river with three low, technical drops and our go to river for the first week in Pucón. The school continued south after that to the Rio Fuy and an epic upper section with tricky drops and technical rapids. The highlight to the quarter was still to come as World Class journeyed down further south yet to the magical Rio Futaleufú. The following month we called the untouched landscape and the wild Futaleufú River our home and at night we slept under the stars of the milky way. This was an experience of a lifetime. Sadly the time came to drive back north again, for another week of paddling the whitewaters of Pucón, before returning back home right into the Covid-19 pandemic.
