Costa Rica 2019
Costa Rica – kayaking in the jungle
Warm weather – a welcome change after freezing Canada. The crew arrived and we headed straight to the white water capital of Turrialba. Staying at Jamester Wells (aka Big Dog)'s cabin above the town we travelled to the many creeks around central Costa Rica, paddling down through thick jungle. Moving north after four sick weeks brought us to the white waters of the Sarapiqui and the 10 meter tall Pozo Azul waterfall. For a week the feeling of free fall kept us entertained before the west coast called us for some surfing and kick-flipping. Stoked after another epic quarter the team couldn't have been more ready for Chile and its spectacular white water.
